Lodge Building Update

Current project status as of 12/30/2020: We have completed week 7 of construction and have made significant progress on the renovations. Demolition has been completed and we are now in the process of structural framing from the basement up to the new second floor. As a result of removing the exterior stucco during the demolition process, dry rot was discovered in the chimney, dining room bay windows and game room bay windows. This presented an opportunity to redesign these spaces to increase functionality. The changes will be as follows: 1. Completely remove the chimney, 2. Relocate the fireplace to the main dining area with expanding window views, 3. Add a coat closet and storage area in the bar area at the old fireplace location and 4. Add a set of French doors to the game room instead of the bay windows. Other noteworthy events are that the new window and trim package has been finalized and ordered. Final kitchen and bar equipment package and layout will be completed in the first week of January. New exterior signage package is expected to be completed in this time frame as well. The project is currently on schedule and within the existing budget. As of this writing the contractor has not encountered any major problems. Below are a few photographs of our progress.

Respectfully Submitted,
