Lodge Building Update

Current project status as of July 7, 2021:

The Seattle Elks Lodge #92 renovation project is quickly changing again, as Mallet installs the finishes, and the delivery and installation of kitchen elements commences. The next few months will include installation of the beautiful fir interior doors, fir trim and casings, cabinetry and counters, floor finishes, paint finishes, fireplace hearth and mantle, bathroom tile and partitions, exterior siding, decking and deck railings, entry canopy and the new building signage. Additionally, the elevator has been installed, adding a welcome feature for people with accessibility limitations, and for moving hospitality supplies and equipment to the Lodge Floor/Banquet Room.

We are still waiting for Seattle Public Utilities to upgrade the water service for the sprinkler system, but finally have permanent power to the building, thanks to Seattle City Light’s recent efforts. The north and east patios are being replaced soon, and will provide a better outdoor experience for the members and guests. Additionally, planning for landscape improvements and security fencing and gates is underway, which completes the final elements of design for Seattle Elks Lodge #92. The Lodge membership and BOD, while planning for imminent Lodge use, should keep in mind that substantial completion is only a little over 3 months away, with final completion likely to occur within 4-6 weeks after that mid-October benchmark.

Respectfully Submitted,

Seattle Elks #92 Board of Directors
